FUEL GAS CONTROL VALVE RETROFIT TO AGV50
One of KKKS operating in East Java has 3 Solar Taurus 60 Gas Turbine Generators. The Gas Turbine Generators experienced a repetitive shutdown due to Fuel Gas Control Valve failure, resulting in limitations and reduced power capacity
Valve replacement to be completed as quickly as possible, and will be proven for at least 1000 operating hours.
All Modification and fabrication will be done in accordance with company’s industry standard.
Should the retrofit job become unsuccessful, KPO is required to reverse all the changes to its original condition.
Choosing CCC AGV 50 has significant improvement in terms of material price compared to existing valve, potentially would reduce 30% to 50% of current price.
CCC AGV 50 utilizes different operating philosophy compared to the existing control valve. AGV 50 Manufacturer through its local agent is able to supply repair kit, parts, instructions and diagnostic software to ensure that customer will be able to maintain the valve.

Solar Taurus 60 Gas Turbine Generator was equipped with Meggit HFG 2.0, with known issues of repetitive engine flame out and fault signals. This valve weighs 190 lbs (86 Kg), utilizes two power supply source, i.e : 24 Vdc and 120 Vdc
CCC AGV 50 Control Valve was successfully Installed and commisioned at Taurus 60 Gas Turbine Generator Package, including installation of additional local fabricated Spool and mounting bracket.
The Valve has been proven to be compatible with existing PLC control and the start up was done successfully.
Total execution for the work is less than 12 working hours.
